New Year, New Beginnings!
/Hi…Happy New Year!!!!
It has definitely been a while since I have sat down to write a blog.
So, in the spirit of starting the new year off fresh, I want to give an update on myself, my coaching, and what is to come in 2023 with a Q&A. Let’s get started…
For the past four years, I have been living in Southern, CA with my husband Drew, and our 3 dogs Yogi, Bubba, and Earl. Our decision to move was based on us exploring life a bit more. So we did….with that came lots of detours, shifts, and regrouping. This has been a big transition for us as our family & friends live on the East Coast. Many flights back & forth, lots of texting, and thank goodness for FaceTiming.
This is one of the reasons I recently went back to teaching Bar Method in Hermosa Beach, CA. The method always offered me community, a place to hang my hat, and people to call friends. It has been a couple of months and I am loving getting in front of a class again. I believe wholeheartedly that sitting still and waiting for things to come to us does not usually work in our favor. I continue to be a believer that life will knock us off our feet so we can make the shift that is necessary for us to grow. And if we don’t listen the first time it will most definitely knock a bit harder.
Part of living is to be shifting perspectives and opening ourselves to new and updated thought patterns. We are like a computer system. If we overload the system there will be a breakdown. If we stay on top of cleaning and refreshing our software we have the opportunity to update new thought patterns.
Q&A
Q: Are you still coaching?
A: Yes I am! I have been coaching for the past 14 years. Each day that goes by my passion for supporting others gets deeper and deeper. I am seeing clients from all over the country via zoom by referral from my past and current clients and readers like you!
Q: What is your explanation of being coached?
A: Coaching is about gaining a clear perspective on what you want.
Coaching is the act of moving forward.
Coaching is about bringing the mind back to intention & focus.
Coaching is ultimately taking agency over your own happiness & life.
Coaching supports you to begin to take personal responsibility for yourself.
Remember if you are lifting yourself
then ultimately you are spreading love & compassion to others.- JPM
Q: How do you keep your coaching fresh?
A: Well, for one, I am being coached weekly by my own personal coach along with studying, workshops, certifications, contemplation, and most importantly meditation. *Hint hint for 2023!
Q: Where have I been and what did I uncover?
A: Since not posting this past year, I have been knee-deep in learning. As most of you know I am a student of life. My passion lies in educating myself with tools to create change to uncover the best version of myself. As I am learning and experimenting with new ways, I am able to share that with my clients.
With that being said, through this process, I have uncovered a fear about sharing virtually with my readers. Being vulnerable seems to be a reoccurring theme woven through the fabric of my life. Like I said before, life comes knocking when we need to make a shift!
If my purpose is to continue to heal myself through various methods and share my learning with you, then what makes me uncomfortable doing this on my virtual platform?
Fear of being judged, not liked, not relevant, impactful…we all have those below-the-midline narratives that sometimes get louder than what our true purpose is. These are the muddy feelings that we tend to stay in too long which likely will become our default.
Enter 2023…
2023, I am ready to break the contract with the negative narrative when it comes to low thought patterns such as the above.
New Contract: Sharing with you through writing!
If I can plant a seed of healing for just 1 person then I did my work. Then my purpose is fulfilled.
Q: What will my writing cover?
A: Anything and everything I have been studying personally over the last 15 years. That means all the tools that I share with my private clients to help them out of their current state of stickiness to a place of flow.

Q: What’s coming up?
A: I will definitely be writing 1x a month…maybe more but not less. This is my commitment for 2023. Not only is it about sharing with you but also breaking my contract with the negative narrative of putting myself out there.
So, please if the posts resonate with you leave a kind comment so I know you are out there!!!!
In addition to my writing, in late January/early February my revamped website will be launching, so keep an eye out in your emails and Instagram.
Happy and Healthy 2023 to you and your loved ones!
See you soon! Xo Jen
