Reconnection to Imperfection (Plus, what's coming next!)
/It has been a while since I blogged, I was finding myself very disconnected to writing and sharing.
If you asked my vulnerable side Why? she would say…
Jen, write about TRUTH…share with your followers some of your inner struggles, processes to healing, and how you go about daily healing for yourself & private clients!
If you asked my EGO she would say…
Jen, its much easier just to share recipes, products and food choices! Everyone wants a quick fix! It’s so much harder to share true feelings and exposing imperfections.
The EGO looks for a quick fix, EASE and perfection.
I am ready for the opportunity to share on a much deeper level… My intention is to write content that is about touching other’s hearts with the acceptance of obstacles and blockages that may be in the way.
P.S. if you see some grammar or spelling that’s not up to par please smile and continue:)
My Journey Q & A
1. How come you really never shared this before?
I am really moving into my “truth” like never before. It is a feeling of freedom to share a deep vulnerable side of myself that I always felt nervous to share with others as well as letting others see into the window to my imperfect side.
2. How has becoming aware of your imperfect side affected you?
Actually, my imperfect side is what brought me into balance and healing. I believe that we must embrace the imperfection & discomfort in life to move into any kind of healing.
3. What are some areas you have healed through coaching?
Wow! That is a loaded question. The first area I looked at under a microscope was the relationship I had with myself. My internal dialogue, the story I made up about myself that kept me stuck, self-judgement, insecurities and overall allowing this list to actually become my life experience. Can you relate?
4. What did you find out once you started to heal the relationship with yourself?
Something I convey to my clients daily, “until you fall in love or in like with yourself is when you will be able to fall in love with someone else.”
Once you give yourself the opportunity to reflect and become aware of habits that are stopping you from your desires is when the work begins.
5. Has it shifted your marriage, personal relationships, career choices as well?
Has it ever! I was once a people pleaser, a “yes” to every person but myself, a fixer, a blamer, and a judger! Just saying that gives me a pit in my belly!
6. How long have you been healing this side of you?
Long time! This is the very reason I went back to various coaching schools. I felt that if I could heal myself through small insights when it came to habits and patterns that no longer served me, I would be able to guide others to access a similar part of themselves.
7. What is the reasoning that you started out coaching on food?
My belief is that we need to look at our nutrition habits while diving into our emotional habits. We have 2 brains that are intertwined. #1 our actual brain and #2 our bellies. These 2 speak to one another all day. When we feed ourself crap along with having a crappy internal dialogue the result is having an overall crappy lifestyle.
8. Will you be sharing your story on anxiety?
Yes I will! My next blog post….stay tuned…
9. What is your next now that you are focusing on your own Truth & Vulnerability?
January 2020 I will be launching a new blog series to provide you free self healing content that I share with my private clients.
Thats right exclusively for you! Stay tuned…
XO,
